Well.  The music for the record is completely written and demo'd.  The lyrics - not so much.  I think this time I'd like to just go ahead and get the recording process started and I can work on words while that's happening.  I know what each song is about, and I have snippets of this and that, and most of the chorus lyrics - but it's always the verses that are a massive hassle.  Lyrics are a pain in the ass and huge fun at the same time.  I mean - I know what I want to say and what the song needs to be about and what it needs to get across.  But then you have the limitations of a song to contend with.  You have 3-5 minutes to get it all… Read More

So - I hooked up with this theater director.  Well, let me start back a little bit.  We have this idea for our next album.  It's not only a concept album (there is nothing more uncool than a concept album these days) - but it's even worse than that.  It's a rock opera.  Oh God.  But I'm so into the idea and I could care less about how uncool it is...
